Being a freelancer I am always looking for new challenges and am available for hire. If you are in the Salt Lake metro area and are looking for a designer, whether it be for a new logo or a just some brochures for your business. Drop me a line and we can talk business. The best part about being a solo designer is the fact that you won't have to deal with the hierarchy of a design firm. Everything is personal and I work directly with you. If you are not in the Salt Lake area don't be afraid to drop me a line if you would like work done. I can communicate quiet efficiently through email and telephones and can help you out if you are in need of a designer. I specialize in logo design, print design and informational web design. I am finishing up a Bachelor in Digital Media with an emphasis Information Technology at the Utah Valley University, Provo UT. At the prime age of 25 I have managed to accomplish much as a young dude hanging out in the Salt Lake Valley. I built my first computer at the age of 12 and that really helped build my passion for technology. My high school approached me in my junior year and asked me to help make the F.B.L.A. (Future Business Leaders of America) website for our chapter. Not knowing anything about web design I taught myself HTML and flash and produced an award winning website for my school. I fit design into my life every single day. Without design I don't think I could make it through the day.
I love design because... Design is one of those things that can frustrate the hell out of you at times, but when all is said and done there is an overwhelming feeling of joy and accomplishment. Being a home owner at such a young age (bought a home @ age 23) has taught me responsibility. I have come to discover that the American Dream is not such an easy feat. Like most thinks in life it requires dedication, time and love. Much like design the more you put into your home the better the final product is. I enjoy working around the house, I find it has a calming effect on a man. The only downside is there never seems to be an end to the work that needs done. Tymayn.com was been made, remade, broken and fixed since July in 2006. Back then I was all about the flash and created this. I have decided I needed an area not only to flex my creative muscles, but to network with other designers. Not only in the Salt Lake or United States area, but all over the world. I have created this blog to cover everything design; Logo Design, Print Design, Design Concepts, Marketing, Designer Networking, Typography, Industry Standards, Life, Freelancing and not to mention blogging in general. I hope this blog becomes a common one among designers, much like the great Jacob Cass of Just Creative Design. Being an independent designer I try to pick up as much freelance work that I can fit on my plate, but of course being careful not to overload myself so the quality of my work suffers. If you are looking for a graphic designer and need some work done, be sure to drop me a line. I work hard to make sure my customers are completely satisfied with their work. I have been known to give far more revisions then first quoted to make sure the client is happy and to keep my name is good favor.
My Skillset, but not limited to: More to come
